Employability Club was an online home for Phase 1 of the Hackney Employability Project , supporting older Hackney residents who are:

  • job seekers
  • surviving on Jobseekers’ Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Personal Independence Payment, Universal Credit, Carers’ Allowance, or any other working-age benefit
  • worried about sanctions
  • receiving no pay or benefits at all
  • still in full or part-time employment, or self-employed
  • thinking about coming out of retirement

Phase 2 of the employability project

Phase 1 ended 30 September 2017. The second phase of the employability project started 1 October 2017 — with a new name and an updated program that does not use this website.
