I found out how to use a different email client & add another email account to an existing email client account. I also revised my use of KeePass & sent my course certificate to my home email address. I have enjoyed the course & will put what I learned into practice.
I revised sending attachments & then how to label filter & archive emails. Need to look how to do this on my email at home as I can see this will be very useful in separating out personal & business emails. I also learnt how to use KeePass to create & store stronger passwords than I use at present. Also something I will put into practice at home.

We started off today by revising what we learned last week:
– importing contacts
– saving attachments
– sending document attachments
We then went on to create our own signature to make our emails look more professional, use mail merge software to send multiple personalized emails & subscribe to an email newsletter.
I learned a lot about gmail which I have never used before. I imported contacts from my EC account so that I have everybody on the course in my email contacts.I learned how to save attachments to a file & then how to then retrieve them. Also how to send them as an attachment to an email. I am hoping to learn how to set up & use a better email for business use. I also would like to know methods to open attachments that won’t open.

Following on from last week I learned how to save a styled document as a template. I also learned how add structure & style to an unformatted document. It has been a very good course & I will now be able to present myself much better when I send out estimates to get work. Many Thanks
How to create & save my own theme so that I can have the same style & format for all my documents. How to edit & save a new document & how to change it to a pdf format. Very interesting & I am sure will be useful to me in getting work
I listened to a talk from Reed Employment then continued to work on learning styles & formats in office word to make documents more readable & presentable.
I got started on styles & themes for documents in Office 2010. I already understand the menu bar a lot better & look forward to learning more next week
